ARE THE TOURS ACCESSIBLE BY BABY STROLLERS AND WHEELCHAIR?

Unfortunately, strollers are not permitted and wheelchairs are not recommended, due to the crowds and tight spaces in the food cart pods and other food establishments we visit.  Our tours utilize narrow sidewalks, uneven cobblestone streets, and a few staircases.  Some of the businesses we visit are in old, historic buildings, and are not wheelchair or stroller accessible in a tour group of up to 14 guests.

The city of Portland as a whole is generally accessible, and we encourage you to explore as much as possible – with or without purchasing a tour ticket.

ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Children are welcome on most of our tours (please see “Ticket Related: If I am bringing an infant do I need to purchase a ticket for them?”).  Please bear in mind, our food tours are designed for adult palets, and therefore may not be appropriate for children and picky eaters.  Parents know their children best, and should assess the situation individually.  The Portland Breweries and Food Carts Tour is for guests ages 21 and older.

Unfortunately, strollers are not permitted on our tours, due to crowds and tight spaces in the food establishments we visit.

IF I AM BRINGING AN INFANT DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET FOR THEM?

For our Alberta Arts District Food Tour, we DO NOT require you to purchase tickets for infants/very young children, so long as they will not be eating.  We DO require you to purchase tickets for every person in your party on our Breweries and Food Carts Tour and Portland Food Carts & Neighborhoods Tour, as these are both driving tours and there is limited space in our tour vans.  Please note, Eat Adventures DOES NOT provide infant/child car seats, or space for strollers on our driving tours.
