For our Alberta Arts District Food Tour, we DO NOT require you to purchase tickets for infants/very young children, so long as they will not be eating. We DO require you to purchase tickets for every person in your party on our Breweries and Food Carts Tour and Portland Food Carts & Neighborhoods Tour, as these are both driving tours and there is limited space in our tour vans. Please note, Eat Adventures DOES NOT provide infant/child car seats, or space for strollers on our driving tours.
Currently we do not offer any discounted tickets for children and seniors.
Eat Adventures does not include gratuities for our guides in the ticket price. A standard gratuity for a tour guide is 15% to 20% of the tour price. If you had a great time, gratuities are accepted by our tour guides
All food, beverages, expert local guide, and gratuity for the restaurants is included in your ticket price. Gratuity for the guides is not included, but is always greatly appreciated. Transportation is included for our Breweries and Food Carts Tour, and Portland Food Carts & Neighborhoods Tour.
Our tours rarely have cancellations or no-shows, and so we do not offer waiting lists. If a date and time is sold out, there is always a chance we may provide an additional tour on that day. Please contact us to let us know what date you are interested in.
Yes, Eat Adventures reserves the right to cancel tours if the minimum number of guests has not booked for a specific tour. In the event we cancel a tour, you will be notified by email with options to either move to another time, date, or tour. If these options do not fit with your schedule, we will provide 100% refund for your tour tickets.
Due to the attention and organization that goes into each tour, please take careful note of our cancellation policies:
- 15 days or more before the tour date: Any cancellation will incur a $50 per person cancellation fee per tour.
- Within 2 weeks of the tour date: Any cancellation will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total booking amount per person per tour.
- Within 7 days of the tour date: No refunds given for cancellation.
All cancellations must be communicated by email, at firstname.lastname@example.org. No partial credits or rescheduling is allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. It is your responsibility to show up at the right location, on time. Tours run regardless of weather conditions (unless the weather is deemed “unsafe”). Eat Adventures retains the right to issue refunds at our discretion
Yes, advance ticket purchase is required for all of our tours. During peak travel times, we encourage our guests to book their tickets well in advance.
