” ‘Best Of Portland’ was the best!”

"We did two tours, downtown walking food tour and the best of Portland. The best of Portland was by far the best value. Our guide Adam was great; very informative, good energy and provided a wide array of places for us to visit. Our group was just the perfect size. We loved the cold smoked scallops at Southpark seafood! The portions were ample and we were just full enough at the end of the tour."

Portland Tours – “Foodie”

Highly informative and entertaining food guide. Interesting food spots! Wine stop was very good. Enjoyed the Food Hall as well as the food cart stops! Melissa could give us all the interesting background about the food, the restaurant, the owner/chef. She could also tell us a lot about the Portland food scene including other good places to eat!

“Great van Tour of Portland!”

"Looking for a food cart tour in the winter has it's challenges and this van tour was GREAT. Not only did we try lots of different food carts, but since we were in a van, it wasn't so chilly.  Add crossing bridges without fear of getting lost and seeing the different neighborhoods with Angie's commentary was an added plus."

Awesome tour, fantastic value!

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending the Food Carts and Neighborhoods tour during an unseasonably warm and sunny day in February.  Angie and Paul were friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Portland's quadrants and we toured a little highlight of each neighborhood during and in between our food cart visits. Each food cart was special and unique, with the French cart landing as our favorite. The meet up location at the Heathman hotel was a convenient distance from any downtown hotel.  We will definitely be back!

“Can’t say enough good things”

I've taken many food tours in many cities; the Food Truck tour with Angie was hands down the best. We enjoyed a wide variety of foods - all fresh, delicious and totally different than the meal before. Angie was fun, personable, accommodating - everything you want your tour guide to be. First food tour to take food allergies seriously. There was something delicious to eat at every stop. Learned a lot about Portland and its culture (first visit). Highly recommend.

“Great way to see Portland and eat some good food.”

"Travel by van to different food truck pods throughout Portland. Enjoyed the food at each stop and it was nice to learn some history of Portland along with information about the food trucks. Both of us were stuffed by the end of the Portland Food Carts & Neighborhood Tour. Would highly recommend."

A must do activity, preferably at the start of your visit.

My husband and I had a great tour with Adam.   As a professional travel/food writer, he is the perfect tour guide.  We loved seeing all the different neighborhoods, and learning so much that allowed us to understand more about Portland as a whole.
The food was great, philly cheesesteak at “Olivia’s wonderland of food” food cart was my favourite.
The three hours flew by, and we agreed it was worth every cent.
Thank you Adam.

“Come Hungry!”

"Melissa was very personable and informative on this Alberta Arts tour. The murals were beautiful with some works in progress. The food and drink were absolutely delicious! We came to the tour hungry thinking we would be able to eat everything - wrong. Still went home with a take out box. Would highly recommend this tour."

Portland Food Truck Tour

What a fun way to check out a new city! My wife and I booked the street food tour in September because Portland is known for food trucks and we had no idea where to begin. Angie picked us up in her van, and drove us around the city to five different food "pods". We ate some amazing food along the way: Korean tacos, Chinese dumplings, homemade pasta, Viking food (yes, this is a thing), and waffle sandwiches. We also learned a lot of Portland history, and got to see many of the different neighbourhoods as we drove around town. Highly recommended.

Portland Tours – “Must-do for foodies”

"I can highly recommend the Food Carts & Neighborhoods Tour . Food carts are a unique feature of the Portland food scene and a great introduction to the (uniquely) different neighborhoods and their "food clusters". And the food is first-class as well; apparently some of the best restaurants in Portland started off as food carts. Adam (our guide) was an amazing guide. Deeply knowledgeable about and experienced in the food cart scene, he was a wealth of interesting information and anecdotes making the tour very enjoyable."

“Fantastic way to explore Portland!”

"With our host Adam, who knows a lot and is a good story teller, we did beverage and food tasting all over Portland in a brewery, fish restaurant, a winery and a foodcart. We even had dessert in a nice ice cream place. Perfect way to explore Portland. Thanks Adam and Eat Adventures!"

All the food was very good and we definitely went to areas we probably wouldn't have gone. We also got great recommendations on where to eat for the rest of our stay. “Great Food Tour!”

Adam was our guide and obviously has a passion for food and for Portland. It was a great way to see the city and understand the neighborhoods a bit more in a short amount of town. The food was diverse, everyone had a good experience and Adam was friendly, professional, and has a great sense of humor.
Thanks, Adam & Eat Adventures.

Portland Tours – “Awesome Value, Wide Variety of Food”

We were the only two people on this tour back in January, but it still went ahead, which was great. I loved the variety of food on the The Deluxe Foodie Experience. Everything from an up-scale restaurant to a food truck and some good old deep-fried chicken. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us time to talk and eat on our own as well as joining us while we ate some of the food.

Really enjoyed the variety of places we went to, the food and the commentary about the areas. Our guide, Adam Sawyer, was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Plenty of food- came back full!
