YES! We can provide substitutions for those who notify us during the booking process or ahead of their tour(s). All accomodations for dietary restrictions should be made no less than 48 hours prior to your scheudled tour time. We may not be able to make last minute substitutions. Our food tours have been carefully designed to highlight Portland’s culinary scene. We work closely with our vendor partners to ensure each guest has a consistently high quality experience.
We offer one of the most generous cancellation policies in Portland. Any cancellation made 48 hours before your scheduled tour time results in a 100% refund. Cancellations made within the 48 hours of your scheduled tour time may not be refunded. However you may convert the tour into a gift certificate to be used on future experiences with Eat Adventures or you may be able to rebook the tour for another day. Any changes to your reservation made within 48 hours of your scheduled tour time may result in a change fee that will not exceed 50% of the total reservation price.
YES! On our Downtown Portland Food Tour we may taste cocktails, coffee, tea wines, or beer. On our Coffee, Donuts, and Chocolate Tour we focus on coffee throughout the entire experience. On both our Alberta Arts District Food Tour and Alphabet District Food Tour we will sample some of the best beer, wine, or cocktails in the Pacific Northwest. On all our tours we offer bottled water to our guests.
Once you have booked a tour, we will include the starting location for the tour in your confirmation email. Our tours offer unique experiences that take our guests to local hangouts, hidden gems, and exclusive establishments. If you have questions about parking or transportation related to your tour feel free to contact our team after you have completed the booking process.
Our tours utilize narrow sidewalks, uneven cobblestone streets, and a few staircases. Some of the businesses we visit are in old, historic buildings, and are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. If you need a physical accomodation please let us know and we will endeavor to find solutions so that EVERYONE can enjoy Portland. All of our walking tours require a certain level of physical stamina, as we will be walking around 1.5 miles. We operate rain or shine, and Portland can be a soggy place. Please dress appropriately for the day’s weather conditions.
YES! Despite changes since our last regular tour season, all existing gift certificates are valid. Our gift certificates NEVER expire! If you have a gift certificate that predates December 2021 you should have received an email with your new voucher # and with it you can book direct online. If you did not receive a new voucher # please contact us and we will assist you.
